Re: [Announce] GeoToDo - Task Manager
That's exactly how I use RTM (prio 1 on needed stuff, and a smart list only showing prio 1 items), and the geo-functionality would be a great addition. I.e. when I'm getting close to a liquor store,...

Re: Maemo 5 MODs - share your MODs!!

Re: HOWTO: Syncevolution with N900
I think df gave me the correct info. I don't think I used up the available disk space, I think I used up the available number of files. I've run into that problem on FreeBSD a couple of times (the...

Re: N900 MODs - share your MODs!!
I think it can do multiple lines, but top is auto-updating (as opposed to run once with some ouput), and DCEW can't handle that. You'll have to do "top -b" (if N900/Busybox top includes the -b...

Re: HOWTO: Syncevolution with N900
As I said here (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=533330&postcount=90), it makes a backup of all contacts, each in its own file. And it makes two backups each time, one before sync, one after. The...

NBC: I don't know how awk actually does the technical task of reading the file from disk, but are you sure it is more efficient than calling cat? Might be, might not.

Then those users have hundreds of other phones they can buy. I see no reason to copy those finger-licking goodlooking phones without terminals. The full featured and rootable terminal is by far the...

Erminig does the job for multiple Google calendars, although it is beta software without a GUI and can't handle recurring events as of yet. But it does handle all other events and multiple calendars...

Re: When will Maemo 5 be a provisionable device?
They didn't give me the job more than I gave them my body. Jobs aren't given... we're not talking charity here. If you've got a job it's because you're worth it, not because someone gave it to you. ...

Re: Laser-Cut Stand for N900
That's the exact same place where I broke mine. I fixed it with just a tiny bit transparent glue, making the crack almost invisible and the stand even stronger (but impossible to disassemble).

I disagree regarding the data ownership, but I agree that a separate application could be a solution. Then those who agree with you regarding the ownership can use that separate application, and...

I lost my stylus within a few days. But anything pointy can be used as a stylus, so it's not a big problem. On my desk I've got a pack of toothpicks that I use instead of the stylus. In fact, the...

The Exchange admin doesn't own the data, I do. He owns the server. If he doesn't want my data on his server, then he can disable my account and delete whatever data I've left on the server, and I'll...

I found the logfile. I had configured the log directory to be "~/.config/syncevolution/google/log". Apparently Syncevolution took that literally, creating a ~ directory in whatever directory I...

Hey Hexagoon! I'm using Qtify on N900 in my car (over FM), and it works fine. However, I bought an N810 to use in the kitchen. Will Qtify ever work on N810?
