If you want to reduce the time on repairs, first get the warranty receipt from the store you bought it and then take it to the actual service center yourself. Usually they send the devices to repairs...

I took my N900 to repairs last friday (Verkkokauppa.com, Finland) and today i got it back. They changed the screen with no extra costs or questions. Yay! I guess that if the spot is visible, they...

I just noticed two brighter spots on my display too and they are visible only on brighter colors.

I need to return my device too. Damn, everything else was working nicely.

Mulla on ollut reilun viikon toi N900 ja ilman isompia ongelmia on mennyt. Pieniä bugeja on ollut havaittavissa mutta mielestäni todella lupaava laite. Ei vaan jaksaisi odotella softaa. :)

I had the same issue but yerga's fix worked. :) Is there a bug filed for this?
