Saw this N9 for sale, just could not resist, really liked the device when it came out, still a great device.


But the OS was completely abandon, and have problems login to google and live account...

Also had the N97 for about 6 month before getting the N900. Do miss the portrait mode, and the better apps/games for Symbian. But using the N900 compared to N97 is just so much faster, and got better...

Got my N900 back today, from second time a the service shop, now it is how it should be, tight slider, with minimum flex (or none at all), no dust, no dead pixels, man finally it is time to get real...

Just picked mine up today, NO dead or stuck pixels, slider is changed as well, feels much better when slided together. Me so happy have really missed my N900, going back to my N97 was not fun, so...

It has to be within 7 days if you want to return your N900 as DOA and get a new one, else they will just fik the one you got now if possible.

I use a company called Telecare, here in Denmark they have walk in service, and repairs all brand within warranty, they have tracking system.

Yes you money back, or swap it for a new one as DOA (within 7 days), and last and maybe the most secure model, it to get it fixed by a service shop.

Just an small update, today I send my N900 in for repairs, about the dead pixel problem, dust under display, and slider that seemed loose when closed. Unfortunately Nokia only has a 7 days DOA...

Use "Simple Brightness Applet", and set the "Keep display on", then display will be on funny enough :D.

Would be nice to get the long press back for Maemo, very nice feature instead of using the function key all the time.
