Re: Purism Librem Phone

Exactly, three questions I'd like Purism to answer
1. What's wrong with Qt Quick? QtQuick Controls 2 are meant especially for mobile and are developed for a really long time?
2. What's wrong with...

Re: [N9] Problems with opening websites

A friend of mine's getting something like a 404 error while trying to open paczaizm.pl, both with the stock browser and snowfish. That's really weird.

Arrow Re: extras-devel for Nemo/SailfishOS

The apps should be submitted by the relevant maintainers. Otherwise, we'll soon end up with outdated versions and I don't have the time to look after it.

Started this one because someone has to...

extras-devel for Nemo/SailfishOS

SUBMIT YOUR APPS! :)

Let's just mimic the extras-devel from Maemo. That's just like OpenRepos for open source melt down into a single repo.

I've just created an OBS subproject for...

Re: gcc >= 6 ?

Are you using the legacy or the new ABI? Do you want it to be a drop-in replacement or do you want to rebuild the whole Mer?

Re: Jolla - alike, or how Jolla adopted the Google's anti-open-source practices.

Playing the devil's advocate a little here for the whole post.

Are you sure that your model covers all computationally-bounded adversaries?

There's a lot of potential scenarios that are not so...

Re: Transponder, a native messaging client

Modulebaan, will you use MartinK's universal components, so that the whole thing will work on any system that support qqc2 (such as nemo)?

schorsch, still, I think that we'll need to come around MAM sooner or later, anyway. I often receive some links on the phone but want to view than on the computer.

So this will wind up as writing...

I'm not talking performance here. I mean the maintainability. I've worked on a 50+KLOC python project and maintaining a bigger python codebase is a...

Re: Jolla - alike, or how Jolla adopted the Google's anti-open-source practices.

There's one more superb thing missing, that was there on Fremantle and disappeared with the advent of Nokia Store for N9 - the extras repository.

As long as we consider only open-source...

Re: Jolla - alike, or how Jolla adopted the Google's anti-open-source practices.

Re: Jolla - alike, or how Jolla adopted the Google's anti-open-source practices.
