Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

15K? When I popped into a Nokia store a few days ago it was PHP 23,150.
It does have North American 3G, assuming, that you have T-mobile and you live in an area where they provide 3G.

Re: Alternative Energy Sources for N900 (for when you need that extra power)

I don't know about the Tekkeon MP1800 but I use the Tekeon MP1550 and it seems to work, although I did have to bridge the middle two pins of the usb inlet. I like it because it because I use AA...

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

I will preface this with I don't have a N900 yet. From what I have read you should be careful messing around with extras-devel with a N900 since you could download programs that have not been...

Re: Is there a Printing Program for the N900

Um, there is already a thread for this Printers and N900 (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=34050) here. The gist of it is once someone can port CUPS to the N900 you can either use a networked...

Re: [Debian] ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!

You could create a partition on your sd card, then copy the image file onto it, then you just need to make sure everything points to the partition rather than the image file. I think this method...

Re: Exernal Wifi Antenna

I could be wrong but I think that someone managed to get either the hawking to work or something with the same chipset to work in the rt73 + aireplay-ng = packet injection thread.

Re: Cloning OS necessary?

For an ordinary user it may not be necessary to clone the OS. However, I would say that cloning is probably much easier, safer, better supported, and just better than making symlinks.

Re: Testing my network security

If you do ever need to reinstall bzip2 gronmayer (http://gronmayer.com/it/) shows that the Diablo maemo extras repo has bzip2 as well.

Re: How do I uncompress a bz2 file?

Um, you should have just waited and not closed x-term, while you wouldn't see any change in x-term the tar.bz2 file was being uncompressed into a ext2 image file. There is a window that pops up after...
