I'm using Erminig-NG right now, but it doesn't work well.
-alarms don't synch from google. (time set to 0 on n900)
-events don't get copied to google if they have an alarm...

That single point (of failure) had an advantage. You could use multiple devices and have the same state on each one (a read article appears as read everywhere).
