Re: Have just cancelled my Jolla - have others done the same?

And why you convinced that it's the MSM8930AA in the Jolla, why not MSM8930? Is there any evidence anywhere? :)

Re: Official specs of Jolla phone surface

That might be as you say, but in fact, I don't know and don't want to know.
So you really need a HDMI OUTPUT?
BUT, I don't need it.

If I want a large screen to watch or play, I will use my PS3...

Re: Official specs of Jolla phone surface

MSM8930AB support HD display with Adreno 305 GPU as well.
So I think, for supporting display resolution, is not just decided by GPU, but the entire SoC itself.

qHD = 960×540 display
QHD = 2560×1440 display

In this chart:...

Re: Official specs of Jolla phone surface

MSM8930's frist release was a SoC in Snapdragon S4 Plus series (end of 2012),which clock speed is blocked in 1.2GHz.

In that time, Qualcomm has an official doc showing that SoC only support qHD.

Re: Official specs of Jolla phone surface

That MSM8930 SoC has 3 clock speed level: 1.2GHz / 1.4GHz / 1.7GHz, there's no reason to OC it.

MSM8960 has 1.4GHz clock speed level ?

If jolla use MSM8960, it will be disappointing. It just...

I think that SoC may be MSM8930(Krait300), it has an Adreno 305 GPU. That GPU support OpenGL ES 3.0 API version.
