You can control apps. Get them to the SD card, allow different things the apps want to do like get access to you phone information or Pictures, Media etc etc.
I dont think you acn root it and use...

I didnt wanted to say it, but I actually went from N900 to N9 to Blackberry Q10. My feeling about BB10 right now are:

I hesitated for so long with getting an N9, because of the missing keyboard. After using the N900 I didnt wanted to go back to vkb... but whatever, swipe UI seriously is the most beautiful thing...

If PSM is off + Idle for XXXmin -> I can switch to 2G, if there is no data connection in use + PSM ON
And if PSM is on and Idle for XXX -> switch to Dual + disable PSM

Hi, the point is I wanted to create a rule that sets the device online every hour or so and disconnects it again. For me it looks like my device isnt connecting to background mobile data connection...
