I am having the same problem. Brand new N800, just got it yesterday. External memory slot works fine, the internal memory slot will not recognize any cards I put in.

Same Trouble

I just purchased a new 770 yesterday at CompUSA and charged it up a few hours and then anxiously tried to power it on. Nothing. Totally dead. It would only power on if I plugged it in to the charger....
