Re: [NEEDED] Appealing ideas for next CSSU

Spellcheck for the email client would be nice (and even nicer in other programs - such as fMobi, web browser, etc.)

Re: [REQUEST] A Spell Check App

I agree. I started a Brainstorm item (http://maemo.org/community/brainstorm/view/integrated_spellcheck/) a while back, I don't see much happening there but Aspell (http://aspell.net/) was suggested...

Re: Google's Schmidt keeps alive hopes of Nokia Android deal

So, does that mean Google could get behind the NITDroid Project (http://www.nitdroid.com/)and commit resources?

That would be an interesting way of getting Google to put their money where their...

Re: Microsoft is the plague: Nokia stock drops 14% as 1,000 employees walk out

BoingBoing shared this old piece of reporting today:

http://www.siliconbeat.com/2008/01/11/microsoft-beware-stephen-elop-is-a-flight-risk/

Maybe Elop will be at Nokia for just over a year.

Re: [SURVEY:] What kind of Applications are you missing at the N900?

Only two apps I am really missing:

1) Finger-friendly word processor with integrated spellcheck.

2) Decent e-mail application that works reliably with Exchange 2003.

Re: [HELP] khweeteur

Thanks! That worked for me, although I did not need the penultimate step:

apt-get autoremove

Re: 5 things in PR 1.4 that would make N900 the best phone up to date.

All I want for Christmas (from PR 1.4) is:

Integrated spellcheck
A decent email client
Improved Ovi Maps (turn-by-turn, etc.)

Re: PR 1.3 is live now! (Released 25 October 2010)

Try updating in App manager again. There are some updates that run after the PR 1.3 upgrade - I think this may fix the issue for you.

Re: Where do I get music online?

I agree - CDs/DVDs are instant archives.

Amazon's MP3 store is getting more impressive. I prefer it now to iTunes in terms of flexibility.
