Re: Maemo-Leste pre-alpha announcement

No OMP doesn't need it. It's used by cutenews, cuteradio and qml-browser.

I suggested it as there was a push for mobile devices to make use of qml and qtquick. On N900 though performance wasn't...

Re: [Request] Guitar Amplification

I decided to investigate a bit. Jsusfx needs puredata which in turn needs python3 and Jack which would involve a little more work.

Re: Maemo Discord Channel

With regards to IRC, generally speaking, a lot of the talk has been development related, not necessarily relevant to the wider audience. As a result, I see no issue with it used for that purpose....

Re: Maemo Discord Channel

Firstly, let me thank you for your efforts. I will occasionally pop up on IRC but not very often. I don't know all the command but a decent IRC client takes care of that, so I see the use of a...

Re: Maemo-Leste pre-alpha announcement

Regarding the latest update, I'm guessing the Qt5 build no longer suffers from the issues we had with Fremantle needing to ship a seperate libX11.so.6 built with --with-xcb. It needed a seperate lib...

Unfortunately I never took this any further. I didn't get any major response in the threads it was mentioned in and had other projects/experiments to deal with. I may one day pick it up and have...

Re: Maemo-Leste pre-alpha announcement

Would it be worth you adding an issue to add terminal flag support to hildon? In addition, part of me seems to remember a memory leak when using catorise.

Re: Gemini PDA (the return of the Psion Series 5MX)

I would appreciate that. I'm still looking for a replacement for my netbook (Eee 1000) that I like. I don't want to spend a fortune in Apple Tax and I don't need stupidly high specs. Gemini or GPD...

Re: Microb and TLS 1.2

I know embedlite (QT) built ok up to 29 development when they removed QT4 support. if I recall correctly I did try GTK build then but it didn't build because of it made user of features in newer GTK.
