it's just the bose stereo headset with the inline mic. i wish i had taken pictures of the mod, but it's covered in heat shrink already.
there's a little rubber covered box with the bose hologram...

The bose headset ones work well, but you have to rewire them to make the microphone work. There is a small circuit board for GSM noise filtering 4" along the wire from the plug. You swap the two...
