After playing a bit more I am no longer so sure if the problem is actually in Flip Clock. I manage to the mclock to freeze as well and in that case the python was stuck as it was with flip clock...

I am now having an issue where the whole application get frozen if I try to see any other view than the default one shown when application start with this latest version I installed couple days ago....

According to what you just explained I believe you need to type the key in by using HEX.

I give you couple examples.
ASC: 11111 = HEX: 31313131
ASC: NOKIA = HEX: 4e4f4b4941

--> the key is 5...
