strange, it is not at all fast for me, on my n800. it takes many times longer than tear to load any pages.

thanks for the thread link. unfortunately it didn't have any definite answers as to why the pop.gmail.com doesn't connect properly. i've already tried the @ or no@ in the user name...

Ok, i've searched around and found no solution to my problem. recently, modest has started telling me that it can't connect to pop.gmail.com and says that my user name or password might be incorrect....

my n800has survived many falls onto hard surfaces. my friend dropped his ipod touch from his lap and the glass screen cracked. yea, the ipod design is pretty, but it's not so pretty wearing a rubber...

semi-mobile phone using skype. webkit and tear browsing. rss reading. email. i like the 800x480 screen best. it's the main reason i got it, and i'm not dissapointed.

ok. the minimalistic theme is pretty snappy on the tablet, but the main page which shows what topics are being discussed takes forever to load. i check this forum pretty often and it is a real pain....

hi. i also use my n800 as my only phone, although with skype. i have had no problems with a muted mic, and the built-in mic is on the top so there are no rustling sounds transmitted. skype to skype...

nokia and skype seem to be pretty buddy-buddy, so i'll guess that the next internet tablet will allow video calls. there are other ways to send sms to mobile, but no good ways to recieve after google...

hey, you probably know this, but some link buttons on facebook don't work in tear, such as the 'post' button for posting a message to someone's wall. also, the double tap, drag to select text only...
