Hi Shapeshifter,
Forgive my ignorance - how could SSH provide access to the SSGD server? Where could I find out more to learn about this?
Thanx!

Thumbs up Re: Java for Maemo 5

I put in a vote for Java ME. The reason is:

- On any computer equipped with a browser (that includes Java) I can reach my workstation.
- The N900 has a great browser which works wonderful.
-...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

Hi Vitaly,

Interesting remark you made. I did not mention Java 'cause the subject of this thread is MfE.

Java is actually item nr 2 on my wish-list. Since we use SUN solutions for thin client...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

Hi Vitaly,

I understand that you make a destinction between MfE for Symbian and MfE for Maemo.

As a customer - I use the simple "both are Nokia machines". And since I used E series phones for...

Re: Request: Let's create an Avaya softphone for Maemo 5

That's too bad. Roaming between WiFi and GSM (or 3G) would be a great feature for the business audience that we service. (With our company.) It would mean they may leave the office while on the phone...

Re: Request: Let's create an Avaya softphone for Maemo 5

Hi Geremy,

Could you direct me to a description of the default client? We'll have to wait a couple of weeks or so before we can test. (Avaya's here, but the N900's still to come.)

Thanks!...

Re: Skype vs. T-mobile Voice Plan

I've seen a dual SIM card being applied in a Symbian Nokia. It does require sufficient space in the phone's housing ("case"). Not sure N900 can, since I've not held the device. Second SIM needs to...

Re: Proposals for community-based marketing campaign

Hi Freppas,
I've read the many replies and noticed several slogans proposed. For anyones consideration, here's my proposal:
