I suggest you go try a couple of the new android devices - namely the GN1 / HTC Desire. Compared to my n900 experience from day 1 in November, its in another category. The n900 has improved...

Yeah I'm suprised by the odd very technical report of screen issues! I think thats just it. To the eye everyone who has seen it prefers the screen to n900. I think its very clear, very colourful...

shop around! I ordered one initially from Amazon at around £445. Got it from handtec for £390 in the end!

physically the screen is only about 4/5 mm longer than the n900 but it feels more useable. the width is about the same width of the black part of the n900.
