I have an Android tablet, you can switch between apps and I think the OS does a more or less good job of preserving and restoring application state. Not true multitasking sure, but it gets close in...

I does install a few, like Opera Mini, Nimbuzz, and a couple of others. Word of caution - I see cvm keeps running when you exit the maps, pegging the CPU, so if this happens you need to kill it from...

If you follow the instructions in the OP you'll get OM 6.5 and 7.0 as well as some other Java apps on your N900.
EDIT: frankly the OM's performance is disappointing, better use the native Opera...

No workaround yet. It is not they that don't know, it is more like they don't care, we live in Android and iPhone world now and I think MIDP maps are no longer supported, you can't even download them...

Dang, can no longer run the app. It attempts to show the Terms and Conditions screen on launch and then craps out with a "serious error" message. Anyone else has this problem?
