You mean the UI/apps opening time/scrolling down a large list of apps etc? :) Is the difference so notable compared to PR 1.2? Is it that buttery smooth? :D

AWESOME! It would be great to have a comprehensive changelog with the bugfixes and improvements too. The N9 site only lists the major features: http://swipe.nokia.com/

I guess it's clear now that the update is definitely coming and it will happen soon. The "small but valuable" description that I was constantly seeing makes me think of performance/UI/resource...

N9 support was added to the Nokia Suite:
