I've tried changing the stack to CSR - useless utility. Then BlueSoleil and finally the Toshiba stack, which seems to be the best of them. But the problem persists - during pairing, Nokia displays...

As for windows, at least Realtek wifi utility has a "Software AP" feature. Haven't test it though. In this case you just specify gateway adress on the PC = N900 adress and you should be done.

Ok, I got the Mobile Hotspot working. Gets me both Internet tehtering AND network access to the device itself (via WiFi).

The drawback is N900 overheats like hell. Perhaps wifi output is too...

If you reboot, some of the recent popup windows (usually e-mail) will still appear in the background. Seems like the setup is read well after initialising e-mail.
Anyway, the setup works afterwards.
