Re: We are not alone :-)

That's true, for BBOS<9, so BB10 should be usable without those proxies.

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet

It doesn't even spell the word 'tough' right. Seems to be written in quite a hurry.

Re: Marc Dillon left Jolla

Of course fraud is forbidden by law. But this isn't fraud. You decided to invest in a product which, apparently, will never see the light. That's the risk of an investment. You won't see your money...

Re: Disabling screen auto unlock at incoming call?

Try qslideanswer. That doesn't solve the auto-unlock but it does solve the 'one click to answer'.

Re: First thoughts about the (pre) Sailfish OS 2.0

Swipe from bottom is still something I have to learn. I'm more concerned about Lipstick which crashes qute often. If a CPU pak occurs the screen blanks, the LED does not even flash, but Lipstick...

I do not know that either. Actually, you will never know unless you will try it... :)

Re: Sailfish OS 1.1.7.24 Björnträsket (Early access release) out now...

You'll have to mount rootfs first and then chroot into it. Then you'll be able to run those commands. Please search Google for those commands, as I can't do that right now, but googling 'recovery...

Re: TOHKBD rev2

As the 3D files are on Github, you'll be at least able to get a new backplate easily, and if you're more of a dare devil even a new keyboard plate... Just print it at Shapeways.

Re: [WIP] App / Tweak: patchmanager a system-wide patching system + homescreen tweak

Try the recovery mode (volume down + power button), then telnet into your device, then chroot into the rootfs and try to fix it.

Re: Nokia HERE works great on Jolla!

I had the same problem. I used the Dalvik Cleanup tool to completely remove Dalvik, then reinstalled it and installed the latest Here Maps. Now it works again. For how long? Nobody knows. ;)

Re: [POLL]would you like/need/want 3G/4G in your jolla tablet?

Didn't buy a tablet. Already have an Asus EEE Pad 1st gen. Having SailfishOS on that would be nice. :)

Re: [CLOSED] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread

Interesting. Now I've never been blocked, but it says: "No cell routes by provider", or something like that. Apparently WhatsApp has found a new way of blocking people. :)

Re: TOHKBD rev2

Personally, I don't mind the keyboard being 1 mm thicker. I've owned an N900 for some years so... ;) I prefer to have the magnets invisible...

But feel free to make it thinner, as long as it won't...

Re: Jolla OtherHalf OLED display / toholed

I'd actually prefer the version with engravings... :D

So how did you manage to print it in yellow if shapeways doesn't accept it?

Re: Jolla OtherHalf OLED display / toholed

My OH is getting somewhat dirty, so could you maybe upload the stl files so I can order a new OH backplate from shapeways? Is it easy to remove the electronics from the backplate?

Re: [0.8.15] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread

I've registered in Mitäkuuluu and I'm still using it. Never got banned. (Only once, in the Wazapp era :D)

Re: Update 1.0.9.n this week?

You've got about 300MB cached. 'Cached' in Linux means it's used by the system to start applications faster (because RAM is faster than an HDD), but if an application wants to use this memory, the...

Re: Jolla hardware internals

The IMEI is just like a serial number. An IMEI is issued at a specific date, so if your phone's IMEI is < 2 years old, you still have your warranty.

No matter if you get what I'm saying or not,...
