I was happy to see one of these e-mails in my inbox a couple days ago. Glad to see I've been invited to take advantage of the discount. However, the one question I've seen unanswered is what the...

Re: Here's a general idea of just how badly we're getting screwed

Re: Here's a general idea of just how badly we're getting screwed

Re: Here's a general idea of just how badly we're getting screwed

It's not population density as much as it is pure area there is to cover. The US, Canada, and Australia have a HUGE area to cover for any carrier that hopes to succeed. In a smaller country,...

Re: Is there official Nokia support and recognition of the work done?

From what I understand of the situation... neither of your options are really "correct." It seems that, yes, Nokia employees who post here do so in their free time because they're just as excited...

Re: Price of N900 Crazy or just me?

That's the problem I have with the n900, and what's going to stop me from purchasing it unless there's either a developer discount program that I can actually get in to, or a "cell-less" version,...

Re: Price of N900 Crazy or just me?

It's a phone. The idea is that part of the price will be subsidized by carriers.

Re: OK to offer Bounty?

The problems with bounties (the idea has been brought up before), is that it discourages something the open source model encourages: collaboration. Instead of having a couple developers work...
