i've had this with fmms before and ended up purging and re-installing and re-entering settings for it to work.
i have mine in havoc and can send and recieve mms.

installed both patch's and first impression of speedpatch is that my n900 is not as responsive as it was prior to installation, scroling doesn't seem as smooth :(
