Re: Export SMS from N900 to Android

As toojays already said, current backups have a slightly different column count and order. I've had a lot of fun with the csv export from the database, especially with commas and newlines in the...

Re: n900 last.fm scrobbler

Any hints how to debug it? I never got it to work again after my reflash in january. Account details are correct, it just sits there, eats some MB of RAM, and does nothing else. It's also not...

Re: tablets-dev.nokia.com is down. Is this still the place to get the images?

Legal or "piracy"?
(still not convinced of the Neo900, great idea, nice hardware upgrade, but how will the platform survive if even such basic tools are not readily available?)

Re: [ANNOUNCE] CSSU-thumb thread - stable Thumb2 on N900

lol, I got the opposite problem. Since sunday, my headphones are recognized (and headphoned stops playing after pulling them out), but only the N900 speaker is used, even for telephone calls. I did...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] CSSU-thumb thread - stable Thumb2 on N900

Is calendar-l10n-mr0 / calendar-l10n-engb closed source, or can it be transferred (and recompiled) to the thumb repo? Some calendar files are already here.
I had troubles with the calendar some...

Re: [Maemo 5] Maemo Mapper

Still don't have a clue how to compile that thing. And I haven't received a single package update for months (nor any new stuff in repository). Am I missing something, or is the N900 development dead?

Re: [Maemo 5] Maemo Mapper

Adding layers and new map sources can be done in mappero in the maps section, but that function is broken atm. I didn't manage to edit the file it is stored in by hand, but using a /etc/hosts entry...

Re: How to download large maps with high resolution with mappero

Or modify mappero to use a folder that is not inside MyDocs. That should also enable using mappero when USB mass storage mode is active. The source code mentions this folder only three times, so one...

Re: [Announce] EvilAlarm

You could also implement something that prevents evilalarm from having two (or more) alarms at the same time. That's more of a bug from sleepanalyser, but it doesn't make sense anyway... ;)

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks --> Everything Needed To Have A Perfect N900 / NEW BATTERYPATCH UPDATE

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks --> Everything Needed To Have A Perfect N900 / NEW BATTERYPATCH UPDATE

Just upgraded to battery patch 5.1, did a clean reboot, and hoped for the best.

Device is now even more unresponsive than before, unlocking (backlight on -> image appears) takes 5 seconds, opening...

Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU

Didn't help.
I got back to mp-fremantle-generic-pr which means downgrading about forty packages and removing some applications, took me about 1.5 hours. Had no reboots, I guess that's because of the...

Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU

What exactly did you do?
I just tried apt-get install --reinstall, but that didn't help. It's highly annoying that the device isn't stable, so it takes quite some time to go back and do some dpkg...

Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU

Same here, but without the reboot loop.

Calendar gets closed every few minutes, the phone is slow and unresponsive and sometimes does not get a network connection at all. I've also had two...

Re: [Announce] kernel-power v48

Solved that by myself. /tmp was full (as only 1M in size), so I deleted the largest file on it, error has vanished. I'm ready for the reboot :D

Re: [Announce] kernel-power v48

Hi,

how much space does kernel-power-flasher need on rootfs (or possibly other partitions)?

I get

while having 19.3 MiB free space on rootfs, and another 600 on home. Thought that should...

Re: Bluetooth Mouse (Microsoft) with N900

Connection is very laggy with a Logitech MX 900...not usable for gaming, but it works :D

Sensivity is okay (bit slow) and the touchscreen is preferred when using both at the same time.

Re: tablets-dev.nokia.com is down. Is this still the place to get the images?

Ovi Suite is still able to download the RX- package. However, I don't know if you can download the eMMC image somewhere else (which is, unfortunately, what I need)

My Ovi downloads it from...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Destroid - Astroids Blasting Game

Well, I have applications that require 2.0, and others that require 2.0-0, so that's no solution for me.
I just removed any annoying package, as well as both libsdl's, and installed 2.0 again....
