I've had this issue twice before (once for 1.1 and 1.2, on AT&T). No idea what the cause or the resolution of the issue is but on both occasions it randomly resolved itself in a few hours.

I think you're referring to removing the screen + white frame from the housing. However, if your screen is cracked and you want to replace it, the only solution is to separate the existing screen...

I purchased an exacto knife from at art supply store, ran the screen + white frame under an extremely hot laptop vent for about 10 minutes, and slowly but surely exactoed the screen from the frame....

Hi Everyone - I'm new to the forum. I successfully replaced my N9 screen (it was cracked) and housing (from black to blue) this weekend. The hardest part was probably knifing the white screen frame...
