Re: Seeking help on packaging with TagLib dependency

Yay, it works!!

So one thing remains:
rzr's taglib deb package refused to install by clicking on it, but it worked once I used dpkg -i (after devel-su). Why would that be?

If I want to make my...

I'm on a row :)
(I write every step here because maybe it will be useful someday)

I've double commented the following line in qtc_packaging rules files:

Re: Seeking help on packaging with TagLib dependency

I'm progressing, I've followed this link (http://cpscotti.com/blog/?p=45) to install the packages in the build environment.
Now I get:

Re: Seeking help on cross compiling TagLib

Thanks

I've managed to build and run the application on ubuntu (didn't try to package), and now I'm trying to package it to deploy it on my N9.
I've uncompressed your packages to set the LIBS and...

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!

If you give money and get a product, you pay VAT/sales taxes, if you give money and receive money (coupon/dividends), you pay taxes on revenue (which could be much higher).
There is absolutely...

Seeking help on packaging with TagLib dependency

Hello,
I'm writing a time-shifting application for web radio streams, so that I can record a web radio at night (wifi/plugged-in main), and listen to the recordings when I'm at work (or anywhere...

Re: jolla taking too long???

1) Is Jolla late to market? probably yes (I think everybody would be 5 years late now).
2) Can they still succeed? Maybe. There's no way to know today.
3) Is Jolla late compared to their initial...

Re: [URGENT] Expert Hacker Needed.

use a linux live CD to change your password, that way you'll know it's clean.
maybe resecure your email account too.
Remove any facebook app that could be insecure.

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!

True: my N900 is laying around, connected to wifi but not syncing anything (ie, no mail), and without sim, and it has at least 5 days of battery life :)

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!

I do care for the specs, but also for how much it costs. I don't want an uber specced phone for 800+€. The low of the high range is largely good enough for me today.

Re: I Want to develop apps but have no Developing/C++ skills

Re: Nokia decrypting your SSL sessions

In the usual way, for a given site, youe browser encrypts the data with the site's key. Only the website can decrypt it. Note that it's your browser that does the encryption.

If you want to...

Re: Floating point questions in C++...

float will give you approx 7 decimals of precision, always (hence asking for 8 digits is asking for trouble). It's very bad. Don't use floats unless you can control rounding errors, and don't have a...
