Re: [Announce] Torchio - an all-purpose command-line flashlight app

Just noticed while in the package interface, Torchio has no icon.
As per Maemo packaging guidelines CLI applications should have a terminal-like icon to indicate they have no GUI.

Have a look at...

Re: [Announce] Pierogi - a universal infrared remote control app

You could do that in the one file.
You have the macropack's listed by name.

Re: [Announce] Pierogi - a universal infrared remote control app

Ok, so I have been playing with the new macro update.
While it takes a bit more typing, it seems easier after a while.

Re: n900 hildon desktop stuck at Landscape only

Don't get confused with forcedrotation and h-d rotation many do and they are completely different.
I try to refrain from using "Portrait Mode" for this reason.

The gconftool you posted above or...

Re: [Announce] CSSU stable release

That's great to here.

I'd be happy with some of the important fixes.
Personally I can think of

*Certificate fix for A-GPS
*Bugfix for hildon-deskop (rotating the wrong way when using Qt...

Re: [FIX] fMMS - MMS on the N900, cannot receive

I don't see why not. After all the whole point of -devel and -testing is to QA before extras.

Re: Security: Heartbleed on N900

I think fixing KeepassX comment is less about Heartbleed and more about password security in general.

I agree it would be nice to get KeePassX usable on the N900.

Re: [Announce] Pierogi - a universal infrared remote control app

I also completely agree. if you don't like them it's fairly easy to change them.

The pasta icons make them stand out from other applications on the desktop.

As for Lanterne icon, I still like...

Re: [Announce/WIP] Bander - Electronics Helper
