Re: Questions!
Hello! Welcome to the forums. We sorely need more developers for the N900.
You can program using pretty any common language for the N900, C, C++, python, ruby, etc. Any yes, you can program under...

Re: The EPIC N9 anticipation thread

Heck, I would call this...

Re: witter - a python twitter client
I think Daniel has moved on from the N900 (http://danielwould.wordpress.com/2010/11/14/maemon900-to-android-htc-desire-z/). I wouldn't expect a lot more support for witter.
That said, I want to...

Re: N900: Useful Tips (a summary)
This is not really a fully functional portrait mode desktop. It seems this key combo reproduces the portrait mode glitch previously found (i.e half of contact/shortcuts/etc offscreen)
It was also...

Re: Should i buy the N900 / look into the future
I wouldn't recomend it.
Would recommend you wait for the HTC Evo. Or if you want a phone now, the just released HTC Desire is not bad either.
Ultimately, it depends on how you use your mobile...

Re: N900 alternative boot video (maemo.org one)
Hello
I tried to do the same thing because I wanted to free up space in rootfs.
You cannot put the boot video in MyDocs because it seems that partition isn't mounted untill the N900 has already...

Re: Replace Boot image?
Thanks. :D
I thing you and b666m are right. It loaded fine once I moved it to /opt. I guess the /home/user/ partition is the last to be mounted.
Just for info, is this because it is a windows...

Re: Replace Boot image?
Hi
I'm trying to optify my boot video but it doesn't seem to be working. I have created a custom boot video and placed it in my video folder. Then i created a symlink to this video where the boot...

Re: Do you miss your old phone??
Same Here. I still carry around my N95.
Was hoping to have most of the functionality of that in the N900 eventually, but now am becoming very disillusioned with this device.

Re: Help You. Identify the non-optified apps.
Yikes!
From kwotski's script, my apps have 323MB non opt usage. Conky shows I'm using 210MB of my rootfs. Does this mean the remaining 113MB of files are outside rootfs? If so, where? And more...
