replace the xxx's with your remote proxy server

Perhaps you need to allow the traffic to the remote proxy, which your local proxy 127.0.0.1:3339 connects to.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with the ProxyCommand option. Maybe someone else here can help you out?

However currently the overall international bandwidth is severely limited, particularly for China Telecom (the largest broadband provider).

Tor nodes are mostly blocked in China. VPN or ssh tunnel are safer bets.

FYI, the official repository of Jolla is blocked as well :D (depends on your ISP)

redsocks/iptables should work with tor, I haven't tried though.

It seems there is no auto-switching. After network switching iptables have to be toggled off and on again manually. Haven't figure...

the funny part is that this CLI application only runs on landscape, complaining the console is too narrow for portrait mode :D

It seems that you need to do an upgrade to 1.0.2.5 first, then 1.0.7.16.

you can set up a transparent proxy on your pc and share it via wifi.

or grab a sim-card from china unicom with a large data plan

the connection issue will persist even if you have your device...
