Hello,

The Hildon Foundation would like to take a minute to present the new Hildon Foundation website:

As you'll see, there is a fairly easy way to donate to the...

Re: on donations: discussion thread

I would like to echo thedead's and even Dave999's (I'd thank him if he hadn't thanked himself so many times :) ) posts.

I'd rather have more freedom of expression than necessary in a forum than...

Re: on donations: discussion thread

Let's have some clarification; moderation isn't equal to running whole of maemo.org... The donations are not only for TMO but for the whole of maemo services including repos, docs etc hosted by Nokia...

Re: on donations: discussion thread

I agree. We should be VERY tolerant of differing levels of English proficiency. There is no Academy Francais for English. If it looks like English, and you can understand what's being said,...

Re: on donations: discussion thread

Discussion is a good thing. So is civility. And that obviously embraces good etiquette. However, I get nervous when "proper English" is raised as we are an international forum and many write english...

+1 for thedead1440's first post

Also I will repeat my question from the HF by-laws thread - what is the current status and what is the migration schedule? Do we have hard dates when...

Re: on donations: discussion thread

I gladly donating as well, but I wouldn't have a forum where only one side of the story is told, the current rules is great. I would never like a forum with constantly banning members for posting...

Thanks for setting this thread up. I hope everyone who posts does so objectively and posts saying if you don't wish to donate, don't do so but stop blah blah blah are not seen here...

While I...

Re: FUNDRAISER - roof on fire

As much as I appreciate this board and would certainly be willing to donate some money, I also see the quality of the threads going down in a frightingly rapid pace.

Rules that once were normal...

Re: FUNDRAISER - roof on fire

I don't trust that kind of services (call me paranoid, i don't mind).

I don't see the point of not having an account if it is to use the one of a friend... Would not be very consistent with my...

I'll forward that to HF board, suggesting they should enable moneytransfer and other alternatives to PayPal.

Many thanks for your contribution

Re: ρcam 1.0.4 -- raw/jpg camera application for N9 and N900 with manual controls and image stabilization

It's not a dependency issue.

Unfortunately the N950 uses some kind of different overlay so I cannot make it show anything, I tried whatever could pass from my mind without sucess. I managed to get...

Would you elaborate on what is the exact problem, maybe I could help with some ideas or code.

Re: [Announce] k2pdfopt - optimize pdfs for small screens

It should be compatible to Meego, however I only tested it on Maemo and Android.
The file doesn't need any installation, it's a single statically linked binary. Yust run e.g. ./k2pdfopt. If you need...

Re: [DEVEL] Saera: Siri clone for Maemo 5

Cool.
It will be much easier for yourself to build updates for all systems.
This is all good news for the future of Saera.

Good luck.
