Yes, I can confirm that an 8 GB SDHC 2.0 card will not work. I borrowed an AData 8 GB and it is not recognized by my N800.

Interesting. The N800 is recognizing a 4 GB SD card (http://members.dslextreme.com/users/carnedo/IMG_0556.jpg) in both the internal and external slots. Thought 2 GB was the limit.
