I really love the changes you have done to MediaBox. I'm really impressed with the length of time the n900 can play on battery now. It much lasted longer than a full day running mediabox all day....

Btw, I installed kernel-module-cifs from the repository on PR1.2 and had no issues re-calibrating the screen fully.

Actually it could also be that the app wasn't/isn't fully maemo-fied and got demoted back into "-devel" . I know of a couple that that has occured so their is no way to get it except via -devel. ...

If you have "weird" issues; backup your important stuff; download the "full" latest rom from the nokia site and then do a flash from the compuer. This will reset the device to pretty much factory...

Actually on the Dev list they announced they were switching part of the backend toolset dependacy program. And then they were rebuilding the apps in the Extras-Devel so that those apps that didn't...

Only problem with this API is that is is designed for a online connection. I run my n900 offline (wireless only). I'm not against adding support for it; just putting a fyi out for what it does...
