I don't see my backup in the restore menu after copying the vault.tar file to /home/nemo. I've tried to use "Restore from memory card" using an OTG cable, but it doesn't see it there either. How can...

Re: Discussion over the Design, Features, and Rollout of Jolla's new Tablet, Assuming that it isn't a Figment of our Collective Imagination

I'm displeased with the addition of ", Assuming that it isn't a...

Re: New version of Vulture's Eye needs your attention

Have you tried deleting or renaming /home/user/.vultureseye? I don't have it installed anymore, so I don't know if that's the correct path.

Re: Is it possible to have an "Ignore thread" option?

I would love this feature. I am only interested in maemo os updates and software. I don't want to see any of the useless troll threads about Nokia or Android. How can we get this implemented?

Re: HELP! N900 Broken screen but need to retrieve memory.

Not necessarily. My phone had no display and no tv out. Long story short: I replaced the entire screen and it is now working again.

Long story long:
I just dropped my N900 two weeks ago near the...

I've been mucking around in the about config; looking for this holy grail.

This is the behaviour I am used to on the desktop web browsers: Ctrl+click (or middle click) a link. Stay on the current...

For some reason, the delete button is greyed out. Same with my 3G connection. Apparently I can only delete WiFi connections.

Re: how do completely ininstall fmms ?

I also renamed the connection from MMS to MMSold in case I ever decide to *shudder* reinstall fMMS before I reflash my phone. Perhaps something is still referencing MMS in the phone and that is why...

Re: New version of Vulture's Eye needs your attention

I don't seem to be able to save. When I quit, it asks if I want it to save, but when I say yes and relaunch the app, I get prompted to create a new character? Am I doing something wrong or is that...

Re: N900 Boot Screen Thead!

Thanks AndrewG. I tried that, but my results were a little different. I didn't have anything say welcom.avi. I had a file called /etc/hildon-welcome.d/default.conf. I made a back up of it and used...

Re: N900 Boot Screen Thead!

These are all pretty good videos, but I would rather have my phone boot immediately when I turn it on. Also, I don't like my phone to make noise if I'm going to turn it on in a quiet place or at...
