Thanks for the suggestion but doesn't this require me to push the files over from a PC client? Don't mean to be fussy but i'd rather be able to use a client on the Jolla to pull the files over.

i'm looking for a reliable way to transfer files to my Jolla without having to go to a PC with the data cable.

I use the Android app called file expert on my Nexus 7 which can easily transfer...

Thanks for all your help guys. I would have given up 2 days ago if it wasn't for the fact that Jolla Care hasn't got back to me yet. I don't think that Hotfix is for me as I'm using Windows 7

I don't get all of those devices in my list. Remember my phone is bricked so I can't choose PC connection mode. Fastboot mode is all I can get to.

i've installed a Ubuntu VM and followed many of the instructions on this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=92119 still cant Telnet to device. A clear step by step tutorial would be good...

I found that driver in the lists under network adapters/microsoft corporation but it refused to install for the Jolla device

googled it a bit more and it dont look like you can use a Windows laptop. Seems like this phone will have to go back :(

I wasn't able to power the phone off in order to follow that process but now the battery has ran flat I can get into fastboot mode by plugging it in and holding the volume down button until it comes...

I was in the middle of using the web browser and it just mysteriously turned itself off. Now its in a boot loop the Jolla logo cones up and disappears constantly. What can I do? Thanks

cant believe i cant display the date near the clock on the homescreen, mystified the browser doesnt rotate and a little disapointed the haptic feedback is so weak. Anyone know of any fixes for these...

I actually don't care what market share Jolla gets compared to ios, android, wp etc. I dont see that it matters. They're a small company with a Niche product that doesn't need to sell 100 million...

N9 battery life is about a zillion times better than the n900 was and is just as good as some Lumias on most days it would last me but I admit it may need a top up after some heavy use

It switches from 2G to 3G fine. Just fails to switch over to wifi automatically
