Maybe so, but my fundamental argument is the N900's standing as the best device for web access. I dont consider applets with stripped down features to have nearly the same functionality as a tablet...

I agree with everything you said there. I deal with people that actually buy phone on the merits of things like the Zippo app at least five out of every 7 days in a week.

Do you not think it is? Facebook is perfect on the N900, even Facebook chat works pefectly without having to use a client, and Twitter is perfect on it too. I'd rather have it than anything else,...

I flashed to PR 1.2 using maemo flasher. Ran conky, noticed it was at 600mhz, so I clocked it right back to 800.

Seems fine.

Anyone into it that much? I play CSS and every once in a while WOW or Silkroad online, I play MW2 and Killzone 2 on the ps3 as well.

i leave my 3g on pretty much all the time, t-mobile uk give a nice 3gb download allowance so i just rinse it 8 hours a day and never really go over.

voda, orange and o2 give a pretty bad allowance...

i've been running the 800 - 125 image for a couple of days and its been great, i wanted a little more speed so i flashed to the 900 - 125 and the phone got really scatty, locked up with more than 4...

i've just flashed mine with the 800mhz 125 idle and its running fine, actually, the change is amazing.

everything feels much smoother, i am able to stream bbc iplayer perfectly over my 3g...
