I've never dropped my N9, but it does make the click sound occasionally while focusing.

I guess it's caused by loose positioning inside the case and the focus shifting.

I actually think that Google changed this behavior after integrating video Hangouts and code endpoint and port remained on the old version before Hangout integration on G+.

Unfortunately this has not been implemented. I think the LED overall has been neglected in sight of the standby screen. either they use it in full conjunction or stop it all together.

Should be possible...there is a tweak to change the standby clock color. Changing the clock color to black won't affect call/sms notifications (these are icons). See here -...
