ok - i'm a dope. I see the menu options include an option to activate the call again. Silly design - it should at least prompt the user to reactivate the call - or even automatically reactivate it.

The Heroesof Might and Magic II port is amazing and has me and my son fighting for the N900. Vulture Eye looks sweet but I cant lose weeks of my life again like last time I got hooked on Nethack.

I still think a dedicated hardware button to launch/maximize the phone - or otherwise the camera button when the shutter is closed. All the other options need at least 2 or 3 swipes or clicks...
