Matan: Yes, i looked at patches, nothing in patches states that it's GPLed.
There are other files included like already patched kernel sources - these are gpled - but alex uploaded the whole thing,...

just thing is that patches are not touching gpl code and therefore are not gpled yet - only when you apply them onto kernel or something then thing is gpled - alex uploaded code that's not gpled (...

There is no need for OSS at all ( except for some old programs that still use it ), alsa has drivers for almost all soundcards including usb, and if there is no alsa driver for it, then most likely...

When have you installed PR1.3 version? I made some modifications to it and some fixes so downloading it again and installing it again may fix your problem.

regions are only related to frequency restrictions and default preemphasis settings, things that caused "fm transmitter disabled" is quite simple - i was using fmtxd binary patched by fmtx-faker as...

I just uploaded new better version that only requires change of /usr/sbin/fmtxd and will automatically set region to 4

You don't even imagine how much interference you can get from one small 50nW transmitter in place where signal is weak - you can interfere with radios in ~100m radius with a bit of luck.

It has nothing to do with power regulators in car chargers - it's design of fmtxd to reduce power or disable transmitter depending on usb cable/charger/headphones state

Unfortunatelly, due to some patent issues nokia decided to cover their *** so for the moment there will be no new versions and current version will disappear from repository ( at least for now ).
