So you'll see that there is a file named yappari.log

When you typed yappari.log the system gave you an error because it thought...

That is because when you are root you are by default in the /root directory (type pwd to see it).

If you want to access to the user directory you have to go to

Java decompiler: jd-gui (http://java.decompiler.free.fr/?q=jdgui)
Search whatsapp_s40 jar file and decompile it. Now you have the API and "only" need to create a client.

I don't know if people who developed osmocom could develop a hardware driver for N900. Then you could compile the necessary programs to be installed on the phone.

First of all, open a terminal and install rootsh:
apt-get install rootsh

Now you can be root executing:
sudo gainroot

After that move the folder to /opt:
mv...

If you have a microemulator folder on MyDocs (as a result of unzipping microemulator on your PC and then copying it to the N900) why don't you move that folder (as root) to /opt?
