Re: 64 GB SD-Card shown as 26.5 GB

Re: 64 GB SD-Card shown as 26.5 GB

Is it because its exfat formatted? Windows should be able to detect it properly though so thats strange. Maybe try formatting it to simple fat32 from your Linux box and see if the full 64GB is...

Re: [Council] Q4 2014 Community Council Election Announcement

Try quasseldroid. You can use it either as a standalone client or one connected to a remote quassel instance.

Re: Python, dbus, fingerterm, opening app/script after last update (1.1.1.27)

I don't have a Jolla but reading the output I would guess that you need a python-dbus package for it to work.

While I wouldn't mind running for Council now that I have got the breather I needed, I have to reject this nomination simply due to differing time zones. Living in Singapore means I am only available...

Re: building an image

Therein lies the main difference between Symbian/Android and Harmattan. You don't need to jump thru hoops to change some system files by unpacking firmware then flashing a cfw.

Re: Jolla at Slush 2014

Well for those ordinary users there are many droid tabs out there. Why line M$ pockets for their proprietary format when a simple format to FAT32 option is enough? Even CM on Android have stopped...

Re: Jolla at Slush 2014

I am using a FAT32 formatted 64GB card on my S4 so no exFat doesn't mean end of the world.

Edit: reading comments from others about Jolla phone bring able to handle up to 128GB cards, it's clear...

What the heck with 32GB max external memory? Using a Linux kernel shouldn't this be as simple as doing a mount -o?

Re: Power button issue - what to do?

Get your power button repaired from a phone repair shop. The button may have gone in too much hence the constant pressing. There is a good video (http://youtu.be/i9u7r4j0atU) on disassembling the N9...

Re: N9: Accidently cancelled MyDocs partition

If you had plugged the N9 to a Windows PC and not done a safety removal this can happen so just plug it back in and once it's detected on your PC, do a safety removal of device.

If the above...

Where is the singtel logo? Do you mean on the low-power screen when the screen is locked? If so, then you can just install any one of the numerous apps for customizing the low-power screen.

IMO, as a community member, you should be posting such a log for all to see so that it doesn't paint all techstaff with the same brush and also adds some clarity to your words.
