Re: How Many Will Keep their N900 until it dies ( Poll Added )

Left mine for the world of android a ways back, year or so ago. Defect in my G2 brought the old n900 out of retirement. Its certainly built better and is fun to fiddle with ... but for the same...

Re: [FIXED] Tethering my Asus Transformer TF101 with the N900

I followed this (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=58570) more or less. Some fiddling but I got it working for my Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus ... should in theory be the same method for you primes.

Smile Re: [HOWTO] N900 Bluetooth-PAN Tethering (N900 supplies Internet Access for PC)

Got it working after a little more [and a few more hours], by combining the efforts of both guys 9000 and Viqsi.

Smile FS: N900 Loved but needs new home.

Hello,

As much as it pains me to do so, I am forced to sell my beloved n900 due to asinine financial circumstances.

As far as I am aware, there are no blemishes whatsoever on this device as I...

Re: Poll: N900 fans will you buy a N9 or N950 (if u could)?

Nah, done being a Nokia test subject. Loved the N900 and Maemo ... but the devices are far to expensive to keep experimenting on one device tree's. I may pick a MeeGo device up in the future if it...

Re: I'm Done, Good Riddance Nokia

Replaced the POS Galaxy S 4G with a HTC G2 [The new one]. Was good to have the N900 right there to pick me up from a purchasing mistake. Very good backup device.

Re: Nokia's MeeGo device will be called N950, will be out this year!

More or less done with buying Nokia experiments. Love my N900 and will keep it till it dies, but when it does I will move on. Nokia phone maybe. but one running Wp7 or Android [IF it ever happens].

Re: I knew Meego would fail when...

There is plenty of indications the MeeGo os is still going to haunt the R&D halls of Nokia. As long as it is doing that it hasn't really died, just matures very slowly. Plenty of OS's do this ......

Re: Mayby the unpleasent truth is that Meego was such a threat Microsoft decided they just had to try to kill it?

The point is that there is NO production MeeGo phone out by anyone. Were as there are numerous W7 devices out. So the OS is done, and out in the wild for growth. MeeGo which everyone holds so dear...

Re: Mayby the unpleasent truth is that Meego was such a threat Microsoft decided they just had to try to kill it?

Rubbish. WP7 is out and generating revenue, MeeGo is a hope and a promise. Elop went for the in hand $$ vs the chance of $$, M$ just gave him the easy way to do it.

MeeGo has a long way to go...

Re: Amazing - Elop lays the axe on Symbian, MeeGo and QT

Think they just want to go hardware provider like HTC is. Seems like a safer market to them I am sure. Eventually they can offer device platforms for various OS's etc. Atm deal made with M$ to get...
