Re: Yours truely is a published author! WOOHOO!
How long is the book? I have a couple weeks before school starts back up-- maybe I could take a crack at starting an audiobook version? It would only cost a copy of the book and a nominal fee.

Re: Wear N810 On Arm
If any of you have played Fallout, you should have instantly realized what this is like:
The Pip-Boy 3000!
That being said, I could take a crack at making one of these.

Re: [Android] Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
Erm, you need a system running Linux with the nescessary tools.
If you have that, you open up the terminal or console, cd to the directory you downloaded it to and run:
./nitdroid_complete.sh

Actually, I unplug it after the other steps. I guess I'm just paranoid about it.

Re: [Android] Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
What are you talking about?
That part of the script just lets you know NOT to run it as "sudo ./nitdroid_complete.sh". The commands that do run as root need to do so and they don't actually run on...

Re: Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
It should be easy for one to change the script to download the other files. To do so, simply modify the "wget" lines and the "flasher-3.0-static" lines to the new files.

Hmm. I tested it out and I've got some comments.
*The keyboard is severely broken. Capitalization seems not to work and it crashes constantly.
*Wireless has bugs as well. If you try to connect...

Re: NITdroid 0.4.x
Basicallly, when it runs sfdisk, you need three partitions.
To make them (we'll use a 2GB card as this example), you enter something like this:
,1024,C (This creates a 1024MB partition for DOS)...

Re: Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
I don't know right now (I'll look at the documentation later), but it should be possible to pack the kernel and rootfs into one bin. I wouldn't bother, personally, as Solca releases new ones so often.

Re: NITdroid 0.4.x
The /dev/sdc was just an example. The script works like this:
mount|grep -e /dev/sd
It then asks you for the last result, which would be the just-plugged-in tablet. It then asks for it again...

Have you guys even read my install guide lately?
I wrote a script that does EVERYTHING, assuming you have the packages. All you have to do is select your partition sizes. If you need, get Linux...

Re: Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
well, it should ask you to type something, and that becomes a variable, in this case it's "$action1". it uses this for unmounting and stuff. once you enter it though, it should ask another question...

Re: Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
It would depend on what you've done. If you just flashed the kernel, you can download the proper image for your tablet and run
sudo ./flasher-3.0-static -f -F yourimage.bin --flash-only=kernel...

Re: Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
From what I've read, there's something different about the WiMax N810 that causes a lot of things to fail on it. I don't know however, as I've only got an N800.

Re: Guide to getting NITdroid to run.
If you just added the connection, try rebooting-- usually that helps. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest getting the calibration utility.
