Re: #JollaLoveDay - 20th May - device announcement
That would be a very expensive solution for such simple use. If you'd use NFC for that, you can't use that NFC-antenna (and probably chip) for any other NFC-use anymore, as there always will be an...

Re: More updates coming for N9?
I want to read it too, but will not register an account for it. Not even a fake one. Even fake accounts leak real data.
With this update, can this twitter app, now that it is utterly useless, be...

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!
I guess there will be tempting (closed, commercial) premium on real devices. Android-support, for one, will not be open. And the device itself should be a nice upgrade as well over the aging N9.

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!
That's true, but it works only if you can actually saturate those cores. Judging by my desktop, I rarely see CPU usages higher than 13% (quad core with H.T.). Only some specialized apps like...

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!
We (well, many of us) did buy a N9 when it was just getting available and expensive, so yeah :D
Indeed, I'm willing to pay premium for a premium device. However "high end" to me is actually...

Re: N9 antenna
The 3G antenna is positioned at the bottom. See page 8 of the manual (http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/guides/Nokia_N9_UG_en.pdf). That might explain some of your findings.
And I guess it can...

Re: What is up with QT 5 and no Harrmattan SDK?
Can download it from here (http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/da8df288-e615-443d-be5c-00c8a72435f8/Qt_SDK.html), but that requires a Nokia-account...

Re: Why does Android feel so lacking?
It certainly isn't anymore with today's multi-GiB devices. But even back then, was it? Symbian managed quite nicely with even less memory (and Epoch32 before).
Android might have been supporting...

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!
I'd sure hope they support Qt5. I've merely dabbled a bit with QML on the N9, but I really like it. Qt5 will take QML and Qt Quick 2.0 to the next level from what I gather from the PR-talk, which...
