You can try using Nokia Messaging service which allows to receive "push" e-mails (the server contacts you when there are new messages),...

Of course, an application CAN'T change the caller ID.

Adblock is good, I don't know how much it impacts performance... but I see that web pages loading, scrolling and rendering without image banners, animated banners or even flash banners is MUCH faster...

The extension is seen and activated just after installation, no problems at all, but the filter list is empty and I see all banners.

They are activated when i take it out from pocket. Maybe you have a proximity-sensor issue?

You had some open application or running process that drain the battery (maybe a buggy app?) or some hardware problem.

I always sleep in offline mode and the battery level is almost the same when...
