my next phone is actually getting delivered tomorrow. decided to get a contract with the HTC Desire Z.
dunno whether to keep my N900 to play around with or just sell it and try get about £200 for...

could this app be ported to the n900?

it's an app for cyanide & happiness comic strips.
the comic widget app didn't seem to work very well for me but an application would be a lot better for me.

using the quick-launch applet where you can assign 4 different applications to the 4 buttons of the applet.
the scripts were made in to .desktop so that they could be used in the applet but it also...

wont that just delete the app rather than remove it from the menu.
i need a method so that certain apps don't appear in the menu (sort of hidden apps)

thats the stock default clock speed.
download 'Enhanced Linux Kernel for power users' and 'Enhanced Linux Kernel for power users (settings)' via the application manager, then you're good to go.

have you downloaded titans kernel and settings? if so...

the overclock buttons do work, the terminal is supposed to close. after try this line in the terminal while root to see your clock settings...

i was thinking the same thing the other day, then we could utilize the space between each desktop....more widgets and short cuts
or spread them out so that the screen looks less cluttered.

ahhh problem
because of the scripts/.desktops created, there are unwanted icons on my menu.
is there a way to hide these?

got the shortcuts i wanted and it was pretty easy to edit the .desktops

1. app-man
2. open xterm in root
3. default clock settings
4. overclock...

how do you write scripts to use for this applet?

i'd like to have my buttons as

app manager
sudo gainroot - opens terminal in root
default, 250 600 default clock speed
overclocked, 250 850...
