4. Settings->Sharing accounts then 'new' and select facebook and add your username and passwd. Then from photo viewer 'share' and it will be on your fb account
5. More -> App. Manager->Update

Mame 'plays' sounds anyway so muting or switching off sound will not increase framerate. Pluggin in headphones may help as it decreases pulseaudios cpu load

Go to X terminal and type 'top'
check if there is some process using lot of CPU time (>30%)
Maybe that will give a hint about offending process.
Check same after reboot

It is quite clear that Maemo6 is where Nokia will put most effort, N900 is stop gap product. I am happy with N900 hoping new firmwares after March one also (hopefully having same QT as coming Maemo6...

What is there to fix in USB port? Works ok, maybe not most robust connection but with care should last.
Nokia does not change design for N900 to my understanding.

No need to check anything before Thursday this week. Nokia announces Q4 2009 results and surely will not show any new devices before that. Most probably after results there will be something to show

Would be great if Nokia would update their multimedia sync tool (on Mac for iTunes and iPhoto) to add wifi as a channel. It works nice over Bluetooth and USB but Bluetooth is just too slow when...

I do not know details but I think OpenGL rendering is one main thing missing. Other than that are asm CPU cores for optimal performance but maybe not that significant as video side

Sorry, got it 'work' when initiating video chat from laptop towards N900.
With MacOSX 10.5.11 and Firefox with latest Google talk plug-in video starts for couple of seconds but then chrashes.
