Maybe bringing it all together in a wiki crib sheet linked to a 'spare and repair'...

I'm inclined to think a BME defect. That's how it feels.The new battery could be at fault though.

My laptop usb might also be on low power mode.

@joerg_rw no I'm using my n810 to charge. That's not the problem. The PC detects it as mass storage. Doesn't charge from adapter, or at most the indicator goes yellow, the phone vibes, and 'pulses'...

I have been since 'dam in 2009 I guess, as I managed to 'make' one out of spare parts recently. This is pretty much the 4th one, due to 2 being returned, and being 'gifted' a 4th along the way.

These will need to support 4 touch/press instances.

How could they be wired into the device?

Yeah thanks for reminding me -- I've been meaning to play about with this on 2 sites...ones for a CCTV system patched into an old Dell on a network, and the other is a QoS issue for a wifi.

Not that this is what the thread is about, but I looked into the touch instance support of the ExoPc and found out the wikipedia entry is misleading, namely the touch instance support is limited to 2...

I've been running an install of the WeTab OS on an ExoPC. For what it is, I think it's ok. But hey I just use it for pdf's (has adobe reader 9) and twitter with twimgo. And some light browsing.

Mine broke today. Fell from a chair when connected to USB cable and snapped clean off, from inside.

It's a preproduction n900 meant to be returned this month anyway though.
