Plasma-Active phone. Tizen, Ubuntu Phone or what should I take

The thing I want is just quite simple: I want a plasma-active phone.
But, I don't want to fiddle around with a lot of tricks and stuff to get it done.
Plasma-Active relies on mer and afaik Tizen...

xes, could your trackerfiles be corrupted? U could try tracker-cfg and rebuild databases, or just reinitialize tracker via xterm (not as root), maybe it helps - maybe not

I managed to boot into meego with a ugly workaround but don't you want to compile a u-boot-ready kernel too? I think a lot n900 users want to mess with meego on their sd-cards

I think that's not necessary. Usually you use dpkg -i kernel* in the directory in which the kernel-files are, don't you? dpkg does the rest. IMHO people who just copy&paste strings into their...
