Hmmm, there are ways to tunnel TCP connections over an existing TCP connection, that's what you should be exploring.

JPU is a "Leaked" version that can be found on samfirmware.webs.com among all other versions.

It's a Samsung firmware that was not yet released via Samsung Kies which is the official (crappy)...

I did solve the problem, I threw the N900 into oblivion and got a Samsung Galaxy S.
Always charges, from ANY charger with micro-usb head.
It'll even charge...

Lets say you don't use the ad-hoc network for internet, but just to fool the phone, (a waste of battery, you can create dummy network in a better way if you follow the wiki),...

At least they are not holding every bit and byte in their safe like Nokia does. They are releasing constant updates via samfirmwares.com (leaks).
Personally, I'm using a Custom ROM based...
