Re: More geocaching with Maemo
Well, I'm a little slow (in more ways than one it seems) but I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. To save someone else the head scratching I went through:

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.4 adds support for Yahoo Maps
Not specific to this release, but is there any reason that adding a POI will only let you add the coords in decimal and not in the specified format in setup? I usually use dd mm.mmm, but have to whip...

Re: Status of Add-ons and docs in Canola 2
I'm looking forward to this. I'm proficient in a lot of languages; python isn't one of them, and I'm looking for a real reason to learn it. This will be the reason for me. I think you guys are doing...

Re: GPS Receiver .................
I use the Holux GPS units (forget the models, but they are small and work well). Install 'flite' for text to speech, and Maemo Mapper will use it and give you verbal instructions as needed... IF you...

[Canola] Bora Canola2
When the Bora distro comes out, we'll be adding it to the community repositories. As of now, the non-nokia repos are chinook only. I see lots of users trying to install the bora distro. Not yet,...

Re: Canola2 related files needed
Wolf08 has his repository, but we're in the process of building a 'real' one, distributed, etc.
Take a look at http://us.tabletrepo.com under chinook, and you'll find the files you need there....
