I'm moving on. Wimax has reached portland but it's not compatible with the n810w tablet. WTF.

i hear it too... it puts me to sleep at night.
i've had other chargers make similar noises, it might have to do with the wireing and socket you're using? taking a shot in the dark here.

So i called clearwire again, i spoke to advanced tech support this time. They said the n810W should work in the very near future. i asked "what do you mean by that?" he said within 1-2 months. =)

unfortunately not. i've tried scanning at home, work, downtown and nothing. so i'm guessing their wimax service works at a different frequency than the n810W, and they'll be working with multiple...
